Family Law Annual Review CLE Road Report: Johnson City

A very early start (and lots of coffee) got us safely to the Millennium Centre in Johnson City for the midpoint of our seminar tour through East Tennessee. We were welcomed by a great bunch of lawyers and mediators who seemed really engaged throughout the presentation.

Here are some of the comments we received today:

♦ Great seminar! A must for domestic relations practitioners! — Bill Hampton, family law attorney in Elizabethton

♦ K.O.’s videos are fun. Well worth the time and price. — Douglas Tweed, family law mediator in Kingsport

♦ I learned so much. Best CLE I’ve attended this year! — McKenna Cox, family law attorney and mediator in Johnson City

Afterwards, we were taken out to lunch by Amber Lee and McKenna Cox. They took us to The Firehouse, which purports to be the best barbecue in Johnson City. There was lots of laughter. I’m still shaking my head in disbelief at a crazy war story shared by Amber and McKenna. It beats anything I’ve every heard.

Our last presentation of this year’s annual review seminar will be our homecoming presentation tomorrow morning in Knoxville. We are super excited for a variety of reasons, including presenting to a great group of lawyers (but let’s also not overlook the extra couple of hours of sleep we’ll get tonight). If you want to see the seminar, tomorrow morning is your last chance. Click here for details and registration information.
